2023
APNA Annual Conference

September 20-22

About the Conference

Once a year, agency owners and staff from across the globe gather for one weekend to recharge, connect, and energize. APNA’s annual conference provides an opportunity for agencies to immerse themselves in new knowledge, learn new skills and techniques, connect with like-minded business owners, and take away immediate plans they can implement to succeed in the private service industry.

We are thrilled to welcome you to our 2023 annual conference, “Advancing Excellence | Celebrating Milestones and Charting New Horizons”, from September 20th – 22nd at the stunning Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

More information will be released in the weeks to come, including a dynamic and diverse speaker line-up of experts from other industries and some familiar faces from within our own membership.

We cannot wait to be reunited with other agency owners in our community and meet some of the faces we have been introduced to last year through webinars, mastermind groups and last year’s virtual conference. We look forward to celebrating APNA’s 30th Anniversary with you at our closing Gala – you won’t want to miss it!

The conference is open to owners and staff members of nanny agencies worldwide – you do not need to be a member of APNA to attend. We look forward to making waves with you in St. Pete this September.

Hotel & Venue

APNA is elated to be hosting our annual conference September 20th-22nd at the stunning Don CeSar this year.

The Legendary Pink Palace® of St. Pete Beach

Opened in the heyday of the Gatsby Era in 1928, The Don CeSar has been welcoming travelers for nearly a century. From high society’s playground to starring on the silver screen to being a Gulf Coast icon, The Don CeSar boasts a rich and glamorous history. Distinguished celebrities such as Clarence Darrow and F. Scott Fitzgerald have stayed at the Pink Palace on St. Pete Beach. We even served in the Great War. With a sugar-fine beach, radiant sunsets, a world-class spa, and a vibrant food scene, you really can have it all. More than a landmark, The Don is epic style. Timeless. Majestic. Cool.

Should you experience any issues booking your room, please email admin@theapna.org for assistance.

Judith Langer Merlin Scholarship for APNA Education

Judi was a pioneer in our industry having started A Friend of the Family in Atlanta over 30 years ago. She was a founding member of APNA, the first co-president, and a long-time board member. Her loss leaves a void for many who knew her and were touched in some way by her generous spirit, gentle soul and faithful friendship.

In her honor, APNA has created the Judith Langer Merlin Scholarship for APNA Education.

APNA Honors was created as a way to recognize our members for service and achievements in our industry. Each year a committee reviews nominations and selects those members that have strive to provide quality service that meets or exceeds APNA standards.

APNA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship

APNA is committed to creating a more inclusive and diverse community of household staffing business owners. While our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to support all small business owners within our industry and provide access to the tools required to achieve longevity and profitability, we must acknowledge one important fact: it is historically more difficult for minority owned businesses and entrepreneurs from underserved communities to succeed. APNA is committed to addressing this disparity by improving access to much-needed, industry-specific educational opportunities, such as the APNA Conference and our business building webinars, for this important group of entrepreneurs.

APNA’s DEI Scholarship is awarded to new agency owners who might not otherwise be able to attend the APNA in-person conference. Scholarships will cover the registration and lodging costs to attend conference, as well as include access to APNA’s monthly webinars and Accelerator Program. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need and to those applicants who have demonstrated a commitment to building their business through ethical practice and participation and support of the larger community.

Recipient Will Receive:

  • 1 full conference registration
  • 2 nights hotel stay
  • 1- year complimentary access to APNA’s Business Building Webinars
  • Complimentary access to APNA’s Accelerator Program

You do not need to be an APNA Member to apply!

If you are interested in learning more about this new scholarship program or if you know someone who might be a great candidate, please learn more and share. Don’t hesitate. This years’ conference is sold out, but we’re saving a few spots for our scholarship recipients…and it could be you!
