Biography

My passion for newborns care began early; moving from baby dolls to babysitting in my hometown of Prairie Village, Kansas, I have spent more than 40 years helping families navigate the early months with their newborn, creating a warm and loving bond with their infant and forming a new family dynamic. Married for more than thirty-five years and mother to two fantastic sons, my experience is broad, from preschool teacher to La Leche League Leader, professional nanny to parent coach; but newborns and infants have always been my passion.  A life long learner, I have hundreds of hours of training related to newborn care, completing my Certified Master training with Newborn Care Solutions in November 2018 and receiving my endorsement in Infant Mental Health in 2019.  Specializing in in-home newborn care and personalized consultations to ease the transition from couple to family, I have decades of experience including multiples, medically fragile infants, post-partum depression and NICU graduates.  My depth of knowledge, vast experience and warm demeanor will leave you empowered. I am a consummate professional, proud to be referred to as a “Baby Whisperer”.
