What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a business owner or a tip you’d share with a new agency owner?
To follow my purpose. My agency should look different than others. I am not seeking to be all things to all people, I want to help solve a very specific problem that I feel called, skilled and committed to do. I want to get really great about doing that!
What is your favorite APNA memory?
I have several, come think of it they all seem to include Shenandoah and music! Enticing a new bride and groom to join our midnight sing-a-long around the grand piano in Santa Barbara or the Karaoke dance party on the yacht cruise in St. Petes.
What is your dream job if you weren’t owning a nanny agency / business?
Radio DJ or travel blogger
Fun fact about yourself
I love to dance! As a fun side gig, I managed a Swing dance venue and taught weekly lessons for over a decade.
Favorite Place I ever traveled to?
South Africa on a mission trip including safari!
What are you most proud of in your business?
I am proud that we seek to serve the family client and nanny candidate well, to coach them where they are at, listen well to their unique priorities and help them navigate to find that.
