When S#!% Happens: Healthy Ways To Deal With Fear
We’ve all received ‘that call’: lawsuits, charge-backs, threats, yelling through the phone. Sometimes it’s for a completely valid reason, sometimes it’s for no reason at all, but regardless, you are on the receiving end of a terrifying conversation and the way you handle yourself could drastically affect the outcome: both of the conversation and the future of your business. This panel will feature veteran agency owners and staff members who are no strangers to ‘five alarm fire’ scenarios and feature tips on how to keep your cool, choose your words wisely, and weather the most disastrous situations that could befall your agency.
Sarah was born in San Luis Obispo and grew up in San Diego. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working as a Nanny throughout college for a family with whom she’s still in touch. After working in Manhattan for two years, Sarah moved to San Francisco in 1993 and joined Town + Country in 1998. Even now, Sarah continues to be touched daily by the stories she hears from both Nannies and families about the strong connections Town + Country helps foster. She also feels incredibly fortunate to work with such an amazing team of women in the Oakland office. Sarah lives in the North Bay with her husband and two sons.
