Emily Miller is the Founder and Placement Director of Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency, a leading nanny and household staffing agency serving families throughout Charlotte, North Carolina, and South Carolina since 2012. She resides in the Charlotte area with her husband, son, and goldendoodle, Waffles.

Before founding her agency, Emily spent 18 years working directly with families and C-level executives, giving her firsthand insight into what makes household staffing successful. With more than two decades of hands-on experience as a babysitter, professional nanny, house manager, agency owner, parent, and household employer, Emily brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to the nanny and household staffing industry. Over the years, she has assisted countless families in hiring trusted nannies, house managers, family assistants, and other household professionals.

Emily is passionate about elevating the industry through professionalism, high ethical standards, and intention. Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency has been a member of APNA for 10 years, and Emily is also a member of INA, most recently serving on the 2025 Nanny of the Year selection committee. She actively supports nannies and household professionals through coaching, hosting professional development trainings and International Nanny Training Day, mentorship, and the Carolina Super Nanny Award, which she created to recognize outstanding nannies in the Carolinas.
